Anxiety, Depression and Quality of Life in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Background: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a common and frequently occurring disease, which not only has higher fatality rate, but also leads to loss of labor force an obvious decrease in the quality life course long-term patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated anxiety depression are major public health problem. Objective: To investigate status anxiety, related factors COPD. Methods: One hundred admitted Department Respiratory Critical Care Medicine First Affiliated Hospital Dali University evaluated by self-assessment scale, scale rating for disease. Results: The incidence COPD was 82.5%, 87.3%. probability both high, prevalence women significantly than that men. Correlation analysis logistic regression results showed education level negatively correlated occurrence age positively anxiety. Elderly were prone had lower life. Conclusion: older less educated are, depression, female patients.
